Giants over Rockies- Do you guys remember when Jeff Samardzija (1-2, 6.96 ERA) was catching passes for Notre Dame as an All-American receiver? When passed on football and decided to play baseball my first thoughts were that he was something special. He started as a reliever for the Cubs and was 12-9 until moved into the starters roll and has gone 57-80 since. He has had six losing season's in the last seven years with the only winning season is 2016 when he was 12-11. He has struck-out 200 batters three times but just doesn't win.
