Mets over Cubs- Well, it took took nearly two months but the Mets are finally at .500 and that is not good for them after an 11-1 start. Not only has New York's pitching staff been decimated by injuries their make-shift starting line-up has scored just one run in each of their last three home games. But, tonight they will have a chance to score some runs as the Cubs start their 'weak-link' in Tyler Chatwood (3-4, 4.10 ERA) who has issued 11 walks in his last two starts. The Mets will start Zack Wheeler (2-4, 5.40) who is winless in his last five starts but has six or more strikeouts in each of his last four outings. Tonight, it is just one of those things as the Mets are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings at Citi Field. Take NEW YORK!
