Red Storm and Bulldogs- The good news is that both Butler (14-10) and St. John's (17-7) are tied for third place in the Big East, the bad news is that they are tied at 5-6. Although having posted 17 wins more was expected from the Red Storm after defeating Marquette 70-69 by getting routed at home 70-56 by Providence. Although the Johnnies are 9-3 SU at home they are just 4-8 ATS. We could make a big deal fo the fact that the Bulldogs are 7-2 SU and ATS in the last nine meetings but the brunt of those games were played while St. John's was a bottom feeder.
