Buckeyes (+) over Tigers- This match-up has had me twisted since the opening line was posted. Granted Clemson is the defending National Champions and are undefeated but they were seeded No. 3 by the FBS and yet instituted as a favorite over the No. 2 seed Ohio State. My, first instinct was that Clemson was the side as that have not received the respect due them as Dabo has stated and now they are favorites. There are questions about Buckeyes QB Justin Fields mobility as he was bogged down against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game but he will be ready here. Clemson is 17-5 ATS as a favorite but have been playing a weak schedule all year while Ohio State is 10-2 ATS against teams with winning records and are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games and are 5-1 ATS as bowl underdogs. Take OHIO STATE!
