Mets over Red Sox- Steven Matz is looking to have a little better aid from his mates this time around and he show get it as the Mets took the day off at the plate yesterday as Jacob deGrom got his usual poor run support. Steven Metz (0-0, 1.50 ERA) had it all in his opener against Atlanta only to had the Mets weak link Edwin Diaz blow the 1-0 lead with two-out in the ninth. This time it won't matter as New York like playing behind Metz at home where they were 8-2 at city field after the All-star break with Metz turning in a 2.31 ERA. Take the M-E-T-S!
