San Diego has won back-back series to open the season for the first time in 13 years and currently have the best ERA among starters in the NL at 2.07. The pitching match-up today should be a good one as the Rockies Jon Gray (0-0, 1.93 ERA) is 10-4 with a 2.97 ERA lifetime against San Diego and Garrett Richards (0-0, 0.00) who is back after missing almost all of 2019.
