Midshipman (+) over Cougars- As always there are a number of ways to approach any game as there is here. BYU has one of the more prolific NCAA passers in Zach Wilson who has thrown for 3,960 yards in two seasons the second of which he missed significant time due to injury. Navy of course is a ground game school (go figure) and led the nation with 360 yards per game in 2019 but now they will be without Malcom Perry who ran for 2017 yards of an overall 3,700 team yards rushing. It won't matter and I'll tell you why after I slip this in. Navy is 7-1 ATS in their last eight at home and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 16 overall and add that the Cougars are 0-7 ATS in their last seven as favorites, but those are not the sole reason 'we' should have the Middies. You know, during the COVID time and even without it the Navy does not take days off. They are together all year long, this is a job, it is their service and they are in sync and have an early season advantage over the others. And by the way, if the line moves Navy is 20-8 ATS at home as favorites..Take NAVY!
