Duke at Notre Dame 2:30 ET
Blue Devils (+) over Fighting Irish- Hey, why am I able to say 'Fighting Irish' when I can't say Orangemen. Oh well, last season Notre Dame destroyed the Devils 38-7 while the last time these two met under the Golden Dome Duke upset the Irish 38-35 in 2016. Different folks this time around for both sides as Duke is coming off a 5-7 season missing a bowl game for the second time in four years. But, what this game will be known is that it is the first Conference game ever for formally independent Notre Dame now a member of the ACC. The Irish are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games and the Devils are 10-3 ATS in September but just 1-4 as road underdogs. Still, Duke needs to atone for last season's embarrassment.
