Losing Dinelson Lamet to injury on Friday and Zack Davies isn't available so the Padres will start Chris Paddock (4-5, 4.75 ERA). St. Louis who has defeated the Padres in nine of 10 playoff games eliminating San Diego three times will start lefty Kwang Hyun Kim (3-0, 1.62) who allowed only 28 hits in 39 innings. The Cardinals who hit the fewest homers in MLB (51) are 5-2 in last seven on the road. The Padres have been great as home favorites going 20-6 and 11-3 against team will winning records but are 1-4 in their last five home games and 1-6 in their last seven playoff games. Take ST. LOUIS!
