The Cardinals may need him to go deep into the game as their bullpen gave up nine runs and nine hits in two innings work. With their No. 1 & 2 starters down and their 3 & 4 having pitched the past two days puts the Padres up against the wall. Yesterday's win was just the second for San Diego in the last 12 playoff meetings with the Cards but the Pods are 21-11 at home this season. History rules...take SAN DIEGO!
