Rays over Yankees- The Yankees have already named Gerrit Cole as their Game 5 starter but the problem as I see it is that they have to get their first. New York will start the very inconsistent Jordan Montgomery (2-3 5.11 ERA) who is getting into his first post-season action. He has allowed seven run over his last two starts and gave up four runs in 2/3 of an inning against the Rays Sept. 2. Tampa Bay will start Ryan Thompson (1-2 4.44 ERA) who has worked two post-season innings surrendering three hits but no runs. Rays manager Dave Cash coined the phase a 'stable of arms' referring to his pitching staff as he will use his 'All-Staff' if need be. As I have said so many times before the Yankees are not built for the playoffs with a weak defense their Achilles heel. Take TAMPA BAY!
