Phillies over Angels- Goodbye Joe' and as far as the Phillies players feel the sooner the better. Girardi has never been endearing to any of his players and it can back to bit him. The fact that they stink in the field and have no bullpen may have also aided his departure. Regardless, these 'Whiz Kids' are now playing well with free minds and are beating up on the overrated Angels who have lost 11 straight! Kyle Gibson (3-2, 3.88 ERA) gets the nod for the Phillies and he has had just one start in the last eight where he surrendered more than two runs. Take PHILADELPHIA!
