Philadelphia at Milwaukee 8:10 ET
Phillies over Brewers- Well, the way things are happening to the Phillies in appears that the baseball 'Mojo' has turn for the predicted contenders who trailed the Mets by 13.5-games on June 1. But, now the problem has been solved (HA) as Philadelphia is on a four game winning streak immediately started after Joe Giardi was jettisoned to the broadcast booth. Left-hander Ranger Suarez (4-3, 4.69) gets the nod for Philadelphia while right-hander Jason Alexander (0-0, 2.57 ERA) makes his second big league start for Milwaukee. Suarez has not won in three starts since his last victory on May 14. He has given up 10 runs on 16 hits with nine walks in 11 2/3 innings over that span, not lasting longer than 4 1/3 in any of those starts. Suarez has faced Milwaukee once this season, allowing one run on four hits in 4 2/3 innings on April 22, but he did not get the decision when the Phillies rallied for a 4-2 victory at home with three runs in the eighth. But, the Phillies ate HOT and will win again today. Take PHILADELPHIA!
