Cubs over Orioles- How 'bout dat...the Orioles are now at 44-44 after winning eight straight games and it feels like the late 60's (for those that believe in ancient history that is when Baltimore was actually good). Tonight the O's will start Spenser Watkins (2-1, 4.15 ERA) and he has been at his best in his last three starts going 17.2 innings while surrendering only two earned runs. Chicago will send Justin Steele (3-5, 4.13) and he is off his best showing of the season allowing just two hits in 7.0 innings against the Brewers. Despite their current hot streak Baltimore is just 1-6 in the last seven meetings and the Cubs are 5-2 in their last seven games against right-handed starters. Take the CUBS!
