Packers (+) over Lions- On a weekly basis with or without them playing well or not I have felt that this the Lions year. Not since Bobby Lane and Doak Walker appeared in four Championship games in six season has Detroit had this kind of talent. If these cats make it to the Super Bowl it will be their first appearance ever. It is getting difficult to keep the faith they way they have lost top impact defensive players that will be difficult to replace. To be in love with the Packers quarterback is a stretch right now as Jordan has not measured up to the personal level what many had hoped for and expected this season. Still, defense, running the ball and not turning it over will be a key. The Lions have tied the franchise record for wins for a season and it is a 17-game season with five more to go as they stand alone a top of the NFC standings.
