Cardinals over Red Sox- For the first time in recent or distant memory the two best teams in baseball (most wins) are facing each other in the World Series. Both the Cardinals and Red Sox won 97 games and have won a pair of World Series in the past 10 years. St. Louis is making their fourth trip in the last decade and are looking for revenge for the four game Series sweep they suffered in 2004. Each side has their ace starting in Game 1 as Adam Wainwright (2-1, 1.57 ERA) and Jon Lester (2-1, 2.33) oppose each other. Both have been great in the post season but the hard-nosed Cardinals get the edge. Take ST. LOUIS!
