Marlins starter Mat Latos (0-1, 94.50 ERA) had his worst outing of his career where he faced 10 batters and got two outs, permitting six hits -- three for extra bases -- and two walks in Tuesday's 12-2 loss. He gave up seven runs and didn't strike anyone out for the first time in 154 career starts. He didn't even get out of the 1st inning.

Miami lost again on Sunday, making them 1-5 on the young season but they are much better than their record. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Braves dropped their first game of the season with Sunday's loss to the Mets, 4-3.
The Braves have over achieved so far this year after dealing their closer and outfielder Justin Upton to the Padres before opening day. Look for Miami to get a big win on Monday night.
