Rays run red hot under streak to nine The Tampa Bay Rays have gone under the total in nine consecutive games after topping the Boston Red Sox 5-1 Monday night. The hot run is thanks to the Rays not being able to cross the plate regularly, but doing an even better job of keeping opponents from doing the same. The Rays are scoring just 2.7 runs per game over this nine-game stretch, but are only allowing 2.4 runs per game.
