One of the best angles to play in the NFL Preseason is backing the new head coach in their first game especially when it takes place at home. On Friday night the Dan Quinn era gets underway in Atlanta. I don't expect the Falcons to do much in the regular season but I'll back them here in game 1 of the NFL Pre-Season.
Matt Ryan will start followed by TJ Yates. The Titans Ken Whisenhunt does not put much stock into the preseason going just 10-19 straight-up and 10-18-1 ATS. The Falcons players will be looking to impress the new coaching staff and as I've mentioned in past years, no new HC wants to lose in front of the fans in his debut, preseason or not. First impressions can go a long way and I expect Atlanta to be the more motivated side. Lay the 2.5 points and play Atlanta here on Friday night.
