Daniel Norris has done a much better job of keeping the ball down so far this year, though at other times - he's missing in the dirt with his slider - but overall, there is still a reason he is in the Tigers rotation. The starters for Detroit have been pretty good on the whole. Detroit looks like they don't have a problem with the visitors coming into their park.




At nothing else, Brandon Belt an athletic, reactive hitter, who'd be really interesting if he developed some real area of focus in the strike zone. The Giants on the whole - have struggled with bats as their 22nd ranked batting avg indicates. San Francisco has not been playing all that impressive in last several weeks, they are in trouble here.
