During an 8-1 win over the Pirates on Friday, Gray saw hitters not biting on his two-strike curveball. So, he changed his game plan and attacked more with his fastball for the majority of his 10 K's over 6 2/3 innings. He has been great over the past 2 seasons and has great stuff as a pitcher and face a STL team who might be tired after playing a doubleheader on Wednesday.
