Both teams are 3-0 but I like the way Texas is playing. Texas had a back and forth affair with Davidson that went right to the wire in their quarterfinal matchup but they didn’t suffer a similar fate in their semifinal matchup with Indiana.
Texas overcame shooting only 38.6 percent from the field, including seven of 25 from three-point range, and controlled the glass to the tune of 48-29. Matt Coleman III led the team with 16 points in the victory. Smart FINALLY has the team to play the defense the way he wants as his VCU teams did. What Texas did shutting down Indiana was masterful. North Carolina was off a physical game vs Stanford and now has to deal another tough physical defensive team. We like TEXAS.
