Even without QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson pushed Notre Dame to double OT in a road loss in their first meeting. It’s been another tremendous regular season campaign for the Clemson Tigers who now stand 9-1 overall and 8-1 in conference, while averaging 46 points per game. QB Trevor Lawrence leads the way throwing for 2,431 yards and 20 TDs.
I think Clemson wants to prove a point here. Clemson gets excited when they can prove a point and they are tired of hearing all about Notre Dame and their history etc as Dabo talked about it in his press conference. Clemson gave up 47 points to this team in South Bend and I think they prove a point here on Saturday.
CLEMSON has won 41 straight games in which they've been a double digit favorite and only 4 of those 41 were decided by single digits. I expect Clemson to win big over ND kind of like the way they beat them in the bowl game 2 years ago.
