10* College Bowl Game of the Week
(NCAAF) WKU vs. Georgia State,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -110.00 Georgia State (Home)
Result: Win
Western Kentucky won 3 in a row to finish the season but they defeated an 0-5 team, 2-4 team and a 2-6 team. Not exactly beating good teams. Georgia State played a much tougher schedule and have been battle tested.

Georgia State ended the season with a pair of wins to even up their conference record at 4-4. They won three of their last four games with their only loss in that span coming at the hands of Appalachian State by four points. Their other three losses were to two ranked opponents (Louisiana and Coastal Carolina) and to Arkansas State in a shootout, 59-52.

Freshman QB Brown IV is peaking at the right time, as he has had two of the best games of his young career in the last two games.

The Geo St Panthers also have had an excellent running game this season, averaging over 190 yards rushing, led by Destin Coates with 652 yards on the ground. Tucker Gregg has rushed for 441 yards this season. Both Coates and Gregg have six rushing touchdowns. Sam Pinckney has been their top receiver this season, catching 44 passes for 753 yards and six touchdowns. The Panthers QB Cornelius Brown has looked very good lately and I expect him to have a big game on Saturday! Georgia State only had 2 wins two years ago and continue to improve and grow with their football program. Look for a double digit win here on Saturday afternoon.
