Ohio St shot well in the 1st meeting at Illinois and got the win and I expect more of the same today.
Ohio St has been struggling over the last 3 weeks - they need to grab a big win vs the Illini here. The Michigan game exhausted them, but we know they can score very well - they just have not shown it lately.



The problem with Illinois is they can run the same backdoor plays repeatedly, so it can get predictable. Ohio St defended that well.
Illinois have had some poor outings where their D didn't show up, and if OSU gets hot, it could be bad news for them here. Illinois has started to show its potential, especially with their tight D over the last 3 weeks - but handling Ohio St is going to be hard. Surrounding Washington with a very good frontcourt has benefited the performance of Ohio St.
Ohio St is home where they have shown they can stick it from deep, and hang points, 6-3 guard Duane Washington Jr. is the main guy for the Buckeyes and he will have a big game here.
