(NCAAB) Ohio State vs. Purdue,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -115.00 Purdue (Home)
Result: Loss
Ohio State narrowly defeated Minnesota in their first tournament game of the season and that win broke a four-game losing streak as they stumbled down the stretch going through the meat of the toughest conference in the NCAA. In their win over Minnesota the Buckeyes only attempted 12 three-point shots, that’s a worrying trend. Purdue is one of the youngest teams (#328 in experience) but we saw them mature down the stretch going 11-3. The Boilermakers offense got the boost it needed when Fr Jaden Ivey was inserted into the lineup. Ohio St limped to the finish losing 4 straight before beating Minnesota yesterday. The Boilermakers won both meetings this season and for those that think it’s ‘Hard” to beat a team for a third straight time....the team that won the first 2 meetings has won the 3rd meeting 70.4% of the time.
