The Padres continue to win games. They have won 4 out of their last 5 games overall and I expect them to overcome the absences of Tatis Jr. and Wil Myers thanks to their incredible pitching staff. Padres’ starter Chris Paddack tossed three shutout innings in his previous start and has limited the Cardinals to only two runs (one earned) in 9.2 career innings. San Diego's bullpen is incredible as well as they continue to lead the NL in ERA.

Furthermore, the Cardinals' offense is inconsistent and have now tallied two or fewer runs in three out of their last four clashes. The Padres should be able to get to Wainwright who has squandered seven runs in his 9.2 innings pitched on the road this season.
