Kyle Hendricks is coming off of a poor performance against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but each time Hendricks has had a bad game this season, he has bounced back with a solid performance. Hendricks is a proven veteran and playoff-tested, so it is only a matter of time before he turns things around.

Hendrix has a 3.33 ERA against teams not named the Braves this year.

Look for Hendricks to pitch well against a weak-hitting Detroit lineup.

Although Matthew Boyd has been excellent for the Tigers this season, the team has lost four of his last six starts, despite him never allowing more than three runs in any of those games. Not only is the Tigers' offense bad but so is the bullpen supporting Boyd. The Tigers' relievers are dead-last in baseball with a 6.40 ERA and 1.73 WHIP.

The Cubs are the better team here and should get us the win.
