Toronto is 8-5 against the Al East this season while Boston has gone 11-6 against division opponents. The pitching matchup tonight provides a slight lean towards Boston with Pivetta on the mound with his 5-0 record and 3.16 ERA. Four of Matz last five starts for the Blue Jays have not been that pretty and he has been knocked around a little more than Pivetta.

There isn't much of a home field advantage for Toronto playing in Florida so I like Boston tonight as there is a more favorable price for the underdog, and I believe Matz is going to be knocked around by the Boston lineup.




Lastly in doing the math on Pivetta is 7-0 with a 2.91 ERA in 10 starts for the Red Sox (Boston is 9-1 overall as a team in those starts).
