This shouldn't come as a surprise, either, as his FIP over the past two seasons ranks in the top 20% of all starters in MLB. The Phillies are also hurting offensively as they are only averaging 2.8 runs/game in their last 8 games. Bryce Harper is also still hurt and OUT for the Phils.

The Philadelphia Phillies will counter here with starter Spencer Howard in this one. Howard has a lot of talent, but the rookie right-hander continues to be plagued by control issues. In his first start of the season last time out he walked 4 batters and after 4 appearances this season has a BB/9 that's over 7.00 this year. Howard has now made 7 career starts and he's not been very good in them with an ugly 6.25 ERA overall.
