Snell comes in with an inflated ERA but he has allowed three earned runs or fewer in 11 of his 15 starts. The Padres’ lefty is coming off of a strong start against the Dodgers and the Phillies starter Vince Velasquez is walking more batters than ever before and has given up at least three earned runs in four of his previous six appearances.

I look for the Padres to avoid the sweep and get a win here on Sunday afternoon.
