This is one of those games where I am going to question Auburn’s motivation level. The Tigers put up an excellent fight against Alabama in the Iron Bowl, but they are always going to put forth their best effort in that rivalry game. I can’t see their roster being too excited for the Birmingham Bowl, especially against a Group of Five school and being without QB Bo Nix.
Houston played Cincy tough in their conf championship but fell apart in the 2nd half. Freshman running back Alton McCaskill has been dominating as he is ninth in the entire nation with 16 TD's this season. Several Auburn starters are skipping this game including their kicker.
Look for Houston to be motivated to knock off an SEC team here on Tuesday afternoon.
