(NCAAF) West Virginia vs. Minnesota,
Point Spread: -5.00 | -110.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
The Golden Gophers had an outstanding season and have won six out of their last eight games overall propelled by stifling defense. West Virginia isn’t threatening and finished with a losing record in conference play, winning only four of nine conference games. The Mountaineers' offense is not very good this year and will have trouble against the Gophers' defense. WVU’s top strength on offense is the passing game however Minnesota is limiting foes to only 185 passing yards, good for 11th in the entire FBS.

Furthermore, Minnesota has a potent running game led by Ky Thomas and Mar’Keise Irving. The squad ranks 28th overall with 195 rushing yards per game and were difficult for Big Ten defenses to contain. West Virginia allowed 28 or more points in four out of their last seven games of the season. It also doesn't help that WVU's leading rusher Leddie Brown has opted out of this game. Minn should roll tonight!
