I'm trying to figure out how Penn State is favored here. It has to be because they are home, because there's no basketball reason to take Penn State here.
The students are starting to return back to campus but the first few weeks are virtual so I don't expect a big crowd here tonight.
Rutgers is just a better team all around and they are coming off a statement win over Nebraska, who they absolutely embarrassed. Penn State has a signature win over Indiana, and played Purdue pretty well on Sat, but they also lost by 25 points to UMass. Also, the underdog is 4-0-1 against the spread in the last 5 meetings between these two. Take Rutgers here getting the points.
