Earlier in the conference season at home BYU beat St. Mary’s 52-43 where the Gaels put up a season low in points and failed to shoot over 30% from the floor. This will be a different story on their home court as St Marys will be out for major revenge.
The BYU Cougars have won two in a row but it came facing the two last place teams in the WCC. Their offense has been great in the last two games but it will be far from that in this game facing one of the best defensive teams in the nation in St. Mary’s. The Gaels will play lockdown defense and while they will not score big they will win comfortably, which is why they are the pick to win and cover here late on Saturday night.
