Frankie Montas is solid, but Oakland’s offense is awful and scored just 5 runs in Montas’ previous five starts, and it’s hard to get a W when your offense is dead. Given how the Astros are playing right now and considering that Cristian Javier is on the opposite side, plus the A’s are not good enough at the moment. Oakland is just 6-12 vs the AL West and the Astros should get another win here tonight. Houston is batting well against righties (.255), which cannot be said for Oakland who is batting just (.205).
