The Red Sox are not very efficient against the right-handed pitchers, while the Angels are better when it comes to batting against the righties, compared to their poor numbers against southpaws.
I think they have a solid chance to get a win on Thursday night and snap their losing streak and also avoid a 4-game sweep vs the Red Sox.
Ohtani is the biggest reason I am backing them because he dominated in his last start against Boston, and even though I don’t think he will allow no runs again in this one, I am going with him to get that W after four starts without one.
Shohei Ohtani is coming off two bad starts in a row, including lasting just three innings against the Yankees his last time out. Ohtani beat the Red Sox 8-0 on May 5th in a game where he went seven innings and struck out 11. I think he will have another strong outing and the Angels will be able to get back into the win column.
