Colorado took game one 4-3 in overtime. Andre Burakovsky scored the overtime winner early in the overtime period.
The offense was fantastic for Colorado this season. They ranked 4th in goals per game and fourth in shots per game. Mikko Rantanen led Colorado with 92 points and he had scored 36 goals, which also led the team.


Defense and goaltending were fairly decent for the Avalanche this season. The team ranked ninth in goals against per game and 19th in shots against per game. Colorado is just very good at home going 32-5 and we like them on Saturday night to get the win and go up 2-0.
