Yu Darvish takes the hill on Sunday and he has been pitching well as of late. In his last start he only gave up one run on four hits in seven innings in a 4-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. After giving up five runs in a Padres loss they have won his last three outings where he has only given up three runs in 22 innings of work. Darvish has not allowed more than two runs in any of his six home starts this season. SD is 12-7 vs the NL East this year and I think they win this on on Sunday evening.
The Padres have been playing well as of late and for the last few weeks have been neck and neck with the L.A. Dodgers for the top spot in the NL West. The team is balanced ranking in the top 7 in the Majors in both runs scored and team ERA.
