Detroit has more momentum than they’ve had in a decade as they won their last three regular season home games. They are on HBO this year and a hungry and motivated coach and team!

 HC Dan Campbell was thrilled as the 18K that showed up for the preseason scrimmage last Saturday and he talked about how they have to keep the momentum going. This is their ONLY home preseason game and I expect them to come out strong and ready to play for the fans and city.

Detroit with only 3 QB’s in camp which helps each get more playing time. While Boyle & Blough are not household names but they are in the 2nd and 4th years here, and have made a combined 8 regular season starts for the Lions. Blough completed 68% of his 44 preseason passes last year.

Atlanta is on a 1-14 SU/ ATS run in the preseason and is not expected to play many of their starters here in their opening game.
