It will be a WHITE OUT tonight at Penn St but I like Minny's chances of getting the cover here.
The Golden Gophers lost their last two games, but that was largely due to the fact that they were dealing with injuries to their star running back against Purdue and their starting quarterback went down with an injury in their last game.
Ibrahim returned to the lineup against the Illini and Morgan, who was at practice during the week, hasn’t been ruled out of this game. Even if he is unable to play, the Golden Gophers will do what they do best, which is run the ball. Penn State’s run defense was exposed in their last game, as their defensive front is very small.
The Nittany Lions don’t throw the ball as well as they run it, and the Golden Gophers have done a great job against the pass and have the fifth-best pass defense in the country.
I expect a tight game throughout and will take the +5 with Minnesota.
