Take Kansas State to get the win and cover as the Wildcats have taken down some strong teams in their path to the elite 8 defeating MT ST, Kentucky, and then winning an overtime thriller against Michigan State. This is an extremely gritty squad and had six players score in double digits thanks in large part to shooting 46% from long range. Nowell had an insane 19 assists in the win and I expect him to thrive in this game as well. The Owls have taken down Memphis, FDU, and Tennessee to make it to the elite 8 but I think their run ends here. Getting a one point win over Memphis is very solid but beating a #16 seed isn’t impressive and knocking off #4 Tennessee who is missing their starting PG doesn’t convince me they belong here in the Elite 8.
