We are going to back the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 1 against the Panthers, on home ice no less, I believe Carolina is still being undervalued as we get down to the final stages of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I'm not sure any team has been as dominant as Carolina in these playoffs as it breezed past two quality opponents in the Islanders and Devils without much resistance at all.
The Hurricanes play a high-pressure game at both ends of the rink and I'm confident they can expose the Panthers biggest weakness, which is their defense and goaltending. I expect a big win on their home ice tonight.
