Duquesne won 9 games in 2021, 6 games in 2021 and they picked last in the A-10 last season btu ended up winning games thanks to very good guard play. The Dukes best three players were guards Grant, Clark and Fwd Williams and all 3 return. Clack was a VCU transfer LY and he is one of the best defensive guards in the country.


Duquesne failed to cover their opener, but they did beat Cleveland St in a game that 13 lead changes giving them confidence and they then they went on handled a good Charleston team winning by 18 as a small neutral dog. Stoney Brook was picked 9th in the CAA. Stoney Brook is turnover prone and does not force TO's. Teams are polar opposite and we have the home team with better guards that control a fast-paced tempo which Stoney Brook does not want to play.
