South Carolina has been one of the best stories in college basketball this year, but they’ve gotten off to such a great start behind an extremely poor schedule. It’s one thing to beat up on lesser opponents, but quite another to have success against a defense as good a Mississippi State. The Bulldogs rank 11th in adjusted defensive efficiency and are a top 5 team at guarding the 3-point line. Miss St also recently got their star center back in Tolu Smith III.
