This is a big rivalry game out west. Amazingly, these have not generally been very close games with six of the last eight decided by 12 points or more.

Stanford is a very good shooting team, 32nd in field goal percentage (48.3%), while California is 271st at 43.1%. Where the Golden Bears have prospered is in their superior rebounding, but the Cardinal can hold their own here, so California will not be taking 12 more shots like they did against Washington State.
