The Royals have not only seen the ball well all season, but they are currently posting their strongest monthly batting average in August. They are also the #1 team batting average with runners in scoring position. The Phillies have been able to lean on their home run hitting ability, but the Royals pitching staff has been among the best in the league when it comes to limiting the long ball.
KC allowed 11 runs and 18 hits to the Phils yesterday and the top of the KC lineup combined to go 1-19 I expect the Royals to bounce back on Sunday.
