W Virg is still baffled and wondering how they blew a 10 pt lead last week and lost to Pitt late in the 4th Q.
Despite the disappointing passing attack, the Jayhawks can run the ball very well. They average 238.7 rushing yards per game; however, it has not been enough for them to get by thus far. The Mountaineers are also dependent on their run attack, though they have been able to balance things a bit better with their pass. This could be the game where Daniels airs things out, as the West Virginia pass defense has been pretty bad to date. The Kansas defense has been the opposite, playing very well against the pass, allowing just 135 yards through the air each game. This will force the Mountaineers to have to grind things out on the ground more. I think the Jayhawks get the better scoring opportunities in this one and come out on top.
