Utah won last year 55-3 and outgained ASU 513-83 in a very embarassing loss for Sun Devils.

Arizona State has shown signs of improvement under the radar and the Sun Devils have a well-coached defense, led by defensive coordinator Brian Ward, and have been effective at limiting explosive plays. This will be crucial against a Utah offense that is still figuring itself out. ASU has been able to create pressure, which plays into Utah's weakness in pass protection.
