The WhiteSox are a terrible road team. Chicago starter Noesi allowed five runs (two earned) on Saturday afternoon vs. The Royals, as he struck out four and watched his two-game winning streak come to an end. It was only the second start Noesi failed to work at least five innings.
The Twins Joe Mauer had two hits and two RBIs yesterday and is batting a whopping .440 with seven doubles and three triples during a 12-game hitting streak at home vs. The White Sox.
The home side sends Ricky Nolasco (4-5, 5.66 ERA) to the hill who seems to be improving with his stuff. I'm going to give Nolasco the slight nod, I think Mauer and the Twins can take advantage of this favorable match-up at home and the Twins come out on top here Friday night.
